Cheryl Cole went from brunette to red and Rihanna recently took her locks from ruby to blonde.

Little Mix member Jesy Nelson has become the latest celebrity to dramatically change her hair colour and she today unveiled a new slick style.

The 20-year-old star showed off her new straight hair-do after leaving rehearsals for the X Factor 2012 Tour that kicks off next month.


Jesy, who used to be a blonde, was well known for sporting a large curly mane of hair and almost always wore her hair down.

Today, the slimmed down star looked a little more grown up with her slightly shorter crop and more tamed hairstyle.

Wearing a green vest-top with a sleeveless checked shirt teamed with a pair of baggy jeans and red boots, the singer looked full of confidence as she headed home after a day of dance routines.

Jesy has apparently been sticking to three workouts a week to get in shape for the tour after feeling insecure last year about her weight.

She said at the time: 'When you’ve got your own insecurities and then people… write them on websites for everyone to see, it just makes you feel really rubbish.

'Obviously, I know I’m a lot bigger [than the other girls].'The comments really got to me. I knew I’d get nasty stuff said about my weight from the start.

'But it’s not until you actually see it that it hits you. I thought I’d be alright and then I saw it and just burst out crying.'

As well as all the finalists from the last series of X Factor, special guests JLS are set to join the extravaganza and show the new kids on the block the ropes.

The boy band member took it all in his stride though and didn't seem to mind all the noise being caused by his legion of fans.

Liverpudlian Craig Colton has been relishing his time back in the limelight and was also at rehearsals today.

He said on Twitter: 'After today's rehearsals feel like I have my Voice back! And ready for the Tour! Who's coming to see us all? Xx'

The Risk will be hoping that they can stick together during the tour after changing their lineup several times during the live shows.

The current members of the band, Charlie Healy, Andrew Merry, Derry Mensah, and Ashford Campbell were seen sharing a joke while Gary Barlow's guilty pleasure , Johnny Robinson, had a cigarette.

The tall cabaret singer was kitted out in a blue tracksuit as he spoke to Colton outside the rehearsals.

Misha Bryan and Janet Devlin were both in good spirits and Misha took to Twitter to tell her 200,000 follower how things are going.

She said: 'So Excited For The Tour :D Rehearsals have been frikkin URHHHHMAZINGGGG!!!'

The ever shy Kitty Brucknell looked like she was loving her fame and hugged fans as she was bombarded by more screaming girls.
