After a whirlwind week in New York showing up the models in a stunning turquoise dress at the Michael Kors fashion show, Jessica Alba went back to mother mode.

She spent some quality time with her daughters Honor Marie, four, and Haven, six months, in a park in Beverly Hills today.

The 30-year-old actress opted out of the playground in favour of a nice patch of grass to sit.

She lay down a soft white blanket to place Haven on before becoming engrossed in her baby's face and stared at her as she smiled and giggled in the sunshine.

Honor joined her mother and baby sister on the ground and gave Haven a gentle pat on the forehead.

All three ladies dressed in matching navy. The stylish star knows exactly how to keep her casual cool by wearing flashes of colour. Notice how her yellow scarf and green undershirt liven up a plain navy sweater, cuffed blue jeans, and black flats.

Both Honor and Haven wore navy jumpers with lambs on it, but Honor also had grey tweed shorts and black Mary Janes.

Earlier in the day, the mother-of-two wore a striped shirt and yellow skinny jeans to the nail salon where she treated herself to a relaxing massage and bright red manicure.

Not seen was her film producer husband Cash Warren, who also recently indulged in a bit of nail varnish, most likely applied by his daughter Honor, last week in New York.

Jessica recently revealed to Extra host Mario Lopez about how her young ones are progressing as they get older.

The Dark Angel star said: 'Honor is talking up a storm and telling us everything and having tons of opinions. And then the baby is just sort of drooling and just being cute.'

But though she is loving family life she did say it is too early to say whether she will have more children yet.

'I don't know. I mean, I'm 30, so I don't know. I feel young! I can't make these decisions yet,' she told Extra.

Perhaps she is cautious as she does not want to push her luck after quickly getting her miraculous movie star body back on the last two occasions.

Life is peachy for young mother Jessica Alba at the moment.

And she took full advantage of some time off to indulging in a spot of leisure with her husband Cash Warren and their two children in fancy Beverly Hills today.

The Fantastic Four actress proved she loves the open air she larked around with her three-year-old daugher Honor and baby girl Haven.


Life may be a bit of a whirl for the popular actress, who gave birth to her ambrosial second child last August.

But the 30-year-old was all smiles as she larked around on a bench with Haven and her hunky movie producer husband.

And she looked radiant in a stylish combo of green cardigan, black top, scarf and jeans.

The canny actress also wisely decided to wear flat shoes for her visit to the public recreational area.

Healthy food shop: Jessica Alba and her daughter Honor head into Whole Foods

She admitted that she is planning to starve off the baby weight after she gives birth to her second child.

But in the meantime, Jessica Alba is giving into her pregnancy cravings, even if they are good, nutritious healthy ones.

The actress was snapped at Whole Foods in Beverly Hills with daughter Honor Marie as they shopped for groceries.

She picked up some avocados and some fruit as she and her three-year-old ambled around the store.

She even held up some fruit to an assistant but it was unclear whether she wanted to know the price or how fresh it was.

Jessica, who is due to give birth in the next few weeks, is believed to be expecting another girl, a baby sister for little Honor.

Happy Birthday to me! Jessica Alba's daughter celebrated her third birthday by dressing up as a princess for the day in New York


She is one of the most popular celebrity offsprings in the world, so it was quite fitting that Jessica Alba's daughter Honor celebrated her third birthday by dressing up as a princess for the day.

Accompanied by her mother, the three-year-old was spotted in the regal attire as they ventured out in Manhattan today.

She wore a badge on the front of the costume which said 'Birthday Girl' and clutched a toy doll.

Jessica, 30, was beaming as she proudly held her daughter's hand.

The actress, who is expecting another child this year, dressed casual and comfortable in head-to-toe black.

Her growing baby bump was clearly visible in a fitted tank top, paired with a sheer striped cardigan and high-waisted trousers.

Jessica accessorised with some chic strappy wedges, a beaded necklace and her obligatory Ray-Ban sunglasses.

Jessica's husband and Honor's father, Cash Warren was clearly absent from the outing today.

Last night Jessica attended the CFDA Style Awards in an orange and purple gown reminiscent of the outfit Cheryl Cole wore for the very first US X Factor auditions last month.

Even though she looked pretty in the gown, the flowing Diane Von Furtstenberg frock featuring a coral top with lilac billowing skirt, evoked memories of Cheryl's now infamous colour-blocking faux pas.

But rather than offend with a back-combed bouffant, Jessica wore her hair slicked back in a simple chignon up-do exposing some oversized earrings.

The actress is the new face of the company's Possession range.

The new campaign was shot by renowned fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier.

The Possession collection is said to 'represents a bond, an official or secret story of love or friendship.'

The 20th anniversary range is available in white or yellow gold, paved with diamonds or left nude.

Jessica Alba stepped out in style yesterday in a pair of high-heel studded booties.

The 30-year-old actress, who is pregnant with her second child, teamed the footwear with an otherwise casual look that included black skinny jeans, a loose-fitting plaid shirt and a rain coat.

She was spotted running errands in Beverly Hills and later headed to Los Angeles Airport for a quick trip out of town.

The mother-to-be revealed this week that she is preparing for the arrival of her second child with weekly 'hypnobirthing' classes.

The new-age sessions, which are becoming increasingly popular, involves the use of hypnosis during childbirth.

‘It's different for everyone, although I do recommend the hypnobirthing classes,’ Jessica told Us Weekly earlier this week.

‘I highly recommend it. It just makes you chill.’

‘I was freaked out going into it my first time going into labour,’ she added. ‘Like what if I panic? What if I just freak out and I don't know what to do?’

Jessica also revealed she’s enjoying her her second pregnancy, but finding it tougher because she is also running around after her three-year-old daughter, Honour.

‘It’s a little bit harder on the body because my daughter still wants to be picked up,’ said the star, who is married to Cash Warren.

‘Ever since my belly popped, she really is on me!’

The actresses both opted to dress their bumps in full-length gold gowns at the New York event, held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The Costume Institute Gala, one of the biggest events in the fashion calendar, is this year being held in tribute to designer Alexander McQueen, who took his own life last February.

Earlier in the night, Fantastic Four star Jessica, who turned 30 last week, tweeted that she would be wearing Ralph Lauren.

She was joined by her producer husband Cash Warren and was styled by Brad Goreski, Rachel Zoe’s former assistant.

With spring in the air, babies a brewing and tummies swelling everywhere, there are a lot of expectant mothers trying to figure out how to dress for their new shape.

Not least in Hollywood, where every tent-shaped mishap is recorded for posterity by the paparazzi.

Jessica Alba, 29 , however, need not fret, as she unleashed the best maternity outfit of the year on a visit to the Shay Todd store in LA yesterday.

Already the proud mother of two-year-old Honor, Alba has had a bit of practise in the art of hiding a burgeoning pregnancy bump.

But you still have to give props to the Dark Angel star for teaming this stunning floor length dress from Gwen Stefani's clothes range L.A..M.B, with an edgy leather waistcoat.

The heavy metal necklace and bright red nails complete the rocker look.

Alba, who turns 30 on Thursday, rocked up to the Melrose Avenue boutique to help her friend Maria Menounos launch her new book, The EveryGirl’s Guide to Life.

The nanny made it a party of three, and the happy trio headed to Jack 'n' Jills for a meal as Honore practised being big sister to her toy doll.

Alba announced her second pregnancy in February this year and has waxed lyrical about being a mother.

She told Vogue it makes her feel 'liberated, less concerned with how she looks' and that it's 'taught her to adapt to any situation.'

Yesterday, the actress tweeted that she was baking for Easter: 'Making red velvet cake balls 4 Easter brunch w the fam - The mushy batter looks like bone marrow.'

And she recently enlisted the help of her followers to find eco-friendly Easter baskets for her daughter.
