But today Heidi Klum pulled out all the stops as she emerged from her New York City apartment.

The supermodel, 39, looked ravishing in a leopard print dress and killer heels, her nails painted a siren red.

While the rainy weather made for a dreary day in Manhattan, Klum didn't let the goom put her out of step.

She emerged from her apartment in SoHo carrying a black umbrella that carefully covered her frock.

The retro dress, with a flirty frilled hem and off-the-shoulder detail, made for a head-turning statement.

Heidi paired the look with matching printed strappy heels, a gold chain-link belt, delicate gold necklace and hoop earrings which peaked out from her blonde waves.

With a lash of pink lipstick, the mother-of-four highlighted her natural beauty as she set out for her day.

Her outing came just a few days after she stepped out bare-faced in New York.

And while her eyes looked in need of rest, the rare appearance proved that even without a myriad of products upon her face, she is still a natural beauty who easily looks a decade younger than her 39 years.

But despite the lack of synthetic foundation or lipstick slapped on her face, the Project Runway host still screamed 'supermodel' with her wardrobe choice.

Heidi opted for an all-black ensemble, but the clothes were far from dull.

The daring skirt had a generous slash up the left leg, exposing her thigh as she walked along.

Her T-shirt fabric was cut-out all along the shoulder and chest area in a punk crochet style, providing a cheeky exposé to onlookers of her bra.

The day before, she managed to even make overalls look good, on an outing in New York with her four children.

The model announced her separation from husband Seal in January, four months before their seventh wedding anniversary.

She officially filed for divorce from her husband Seal yesterday after three months of separation.

But Heidi Klum cut a relaxed and smiling figure as she stepped out in Los Angeles today.

The 38-year-old German born model put on a brave face as she escorted sons Henry and Johan to their karate class in Brentwood.

However, she did cover her eyes with a pair of oversized aviator sunglasses.

The Project Runway host looked stunning in a bright pink maxi dress which she teamed with a black leather jacket and black pumps.

Her sons Henry, six, and five-year-old Johan both wore matching black T-shirts and white trousers for their class.

She was today without daughters Leni, seven, and two-year-old Lou.

Meanwhile, her estranged husband Seal looked equally chilled out as he arrived back in Los Angeles last night.

He smiled as he strolled through the LAX terminal, wearing a loose grey zip up top and sunglasses.

Yesterday saw Heidi officially file for divorce from the 49-year-old British-born singer.

Heidi cites 'irreconcilable differences' in her divorce petition, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, according to TMZ.

According to the documents filed by Heidi's lawyer, Laura Wasser, the couple signed a post-nuptial agreement.

This means they made an agreement after they got married to keep their assets completely separate.

So there is also no community property to be divided, according to sources.

Heidi is asking for joint legal custody of their four children, but she wants primary physical custody.

Heidi is also asking the judge to restore her maiden name to Klum, although she has always used it professionally.

Heidi, who is the wealthier of the pair, is asking the judge to reject any claim for spousal support from Seal, and not making such demands herself.

And she also makes it clear that she wants Seal to pay his own lawyer's fees.

The German supermodel parted ways from the Kiss From A Rose singer after almost seven years of marriage.

Following the split, Seal admitted he was keen to continue to wear his wedding ring as a 'token' of how he feels about Heidi and he had 'no intention' of removing the band anytime soon.

He recently said: 'I think it's just pretty much a token of how I feel about this woman. We have eight years. Eight wonderful years together.

'Just because we have decided to separate doesn't necessarily mean you take off your ring and you're no longer connected to that person.

'Will we wear the ring for the rest of our lives? Who knows? But right now it feels really comfortable on my hand so I have intentions of taking it off anytime soon.'

Supermodel, reality TV host, mother-of-four, devoted wife, and now football player - there's nothing Heidi Klum can't do.

The beautiful blonde German channelled her inner Wayne Rooney as she kicked around a football with her children in park in New York City today.

Klum was with Leni, seven, Johan, five, and Henry, four, and two-and-a-half-year-old daughter Lou, as they had a family fun-day at the playground in the Tribeca area of Manhattan.


The world's coolest mother blew bubbles for her delighted children with a flower shaped wand and let her mini-me daughter Leni style her famous blonde hair.

Her rock star husband Seal wasn't present for the day trip but was spotted with his family earlier this week as they all ventured out in the rain.

Heidi said she wanted to spend more time with her children since he hung up her wings as a Victoria's Secret Angel in October last year.

Instead of supermodel, she's embracing the role of super mother as she logs in quality time with her brood, but don't expect them to expand again any time soon.

Heidi has just finished her hosting duties on Germany's Next Top Model and looks happy to be back in America with her family before she starts promoting the ninth season of Project Runway.

Still boasting a flawless figure at 38 despite four pregnancies, Klum dared to bare for an advertisement for the new season as she posed with a pair of scissors and a pink tie ribbon around her neck, with the words 'Make It Work' - a catchphrase of the show's co-host Tim Gunn - written on her arm.

The ninth season of the reality show, which pits aspiring fashion designers against one another, is set to debut in the U.S. on July 28.
This is definitely sexier than past campaigns we've done,' said German-born Klum.

This week it emerged that Kim Kardashian is rumoured to be a guest judge on the upcoming season.

She already co-owns three clothing boutiques, is involved in several reality shows and endorses dozens of products.

And she's planning the wedding of the year to NBA star Kris Humphries.

But that didn't stop Kim Kardashian from adding another role to her resume as she filmed a guest spot on Lifetime's Project Runway yesterday.

The fashion and TV mogul joined Heidi Klum and fellow judges Nina Garcia and Michael Kors to shoot the upcoming episode in Battery Park, New York yesterday.

Kim, 30, chose a simple yet chic little black dress for the occasion which she paired with towering platform Christian Louboutin pumps.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashian's star completed her look with a sleek ponytail and hoop earrings, not to mention her enormous engagement ring.

Klum, 38, also chose an all black ensemble which included an asymmetric belted black mini-dress and black stiletto booties but Heidi was a little less daring than Kim and opted to wear tights to keep her legs covered.

She also wore her hair pulled back in a slick up-do but added a splash of colour with a cerise pink lipstick.

The designers had an unusual challenge this week as they had to present their clothes with their models on huge stilts.

The ensembles were all very colourful and imaginative but it is not known yet who got the chop and who got to stay to compete for the $100,000 prize.

Kim, meanwhile, has been hitting the gym every day to make sure her body is as stunning as the 20.5 carat ring on her finger.

The reality star, who announced her engagement to NBA star Humphries last month, broadcast her wedding weight loss plan to her fans on Twitter earlier this week.

When asked by Us magazine in America what her fiancé Humphries' favourite body part was, Kim replied, 'Obviously my butt.'

Kim has talked openly about her body struggles telling Harper's Bazaar magazine in the U.S. that she constantly has to watch what she eats.

'I'm on a diet. I need to be. I love to eat - Kit Kats or cookies-and-cream ice cream. I need sugar like five times a day,' she revealed.

The new season of Project Runway is set to première on July 28th.
