So perhaps this what Jay-Z was thinking when he asked wife Beyoncé to perform onstage with him in New York on Saturday.

However, he probably didn't bank on getting so distracted by his wife's leather-clad body that he missed his cue as she performed a couple of songs.

Looking every inch the curvy superstar, mother-of-one Beyoncé, performed her song Diva before Jay-Z joined her for Crazy In Love and Young Forver.

Although crowds were waiting for Jay-Z to come in the Crazy In Love sondtrack after the rapper, 42, became so distracted watching his wife on the monitors backstage he was heard saying: 'Oh s**t, I should probably rap here.'

And when the song was finished as Beyoncé walked off the stage, Jay-Z gave her playful slap on the derriere.

Beyonce was back onstage for Young Forever, wearing skin-tight, black leather pants and a stylish black motorcycle jacket.

The couple even shared a kiss before they exited off stage while the hometown crowd cheered on.

The infant offspring of Beyoncé and Jay-Z was spied being carried by daddy during a day tip in Paris.

The family are currently in France following Jay-Z's performance at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy on Friday night for his Watch The Throne co-headline tour with Kanye West.

Despite being flanked by security, the Empire State Of Mind star was not about to offload his most prized possession into their care, instead carrying his little girl with both arms wrapped around her.

She was protected from the imposing flashbulbs beneath a baby blue blanket, with her little legs dangling barefoot from beneath.

Rather cheekily, the Crazy In Love songbird had left a few buttons undone meaning her cleavage peeped through and the lining of her bra could be seen.

She also ventured out over the weekend to watch her husband, 42, in concert alongside a sea of famous friends including Kelly Rowland, Gwyneth Paltrow, Spike Lee and Adrien Brody.

As she hit the beach in St Barts with husband Jay-Z, the 30-year-old star proudly displayed her womanly curves in a modest one-piece.

Beyoncé looked stunning in the plunging black swimsuit, which featured a cute frill around the waist, as she cooled off after some sunbathing with a dip in the sea.

As she slowly made her way into the sea, Beyoncé looked happy in relaxed - raising her arms up to her sides at one point with delight.

Beyoncé's trip in the sea came after she was spotted spending some alone time with Jay-Z on the white sands, as the pair took the opportunity to have a few hours off from their baby daughter.

They have had very hectic schedules since the birth of their first child so appear to be making the most of their Caribbean getaway.

And they seem to be taking to parenthood like ducks to water as they make sure they have some quiet time as a couple as well as doting on their little one.

They certainly seemed to be winding down as an ice bucket rested behind them which contained a bottle of wine and several bottles of water, while Jay-Z also sipped juice from a coconut.

Yesterday the pair were seen toting little Blue Ivy as they made their way onto a waiting boat.

The holiday comes as the singer and her rapper husband are reported to have renewed their wedding vows in celebration of their fourth anniversary earlier this week.

The power couple are also understood to have exchanged new rings as they stood before celebrity guests including Oprah Winfrey, according to MediaTakeOut.com.

The 30-year-old star accessorised her outfit with sunglasses and a large pair of hoop earrings, wearing her light brown hair piled high in a bun on top of her head.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z went for a similarly relaxed look in a pale blue unbuttoned shirt, a pair of light brown checked shorts and some cream plimsoll-type shoes.

And the little girl is already living the high life with her superstar parents Beyoncé and Jay-Z and today the family enjoyed a meal together in New York.

The trio enjoyed lunch at trendy restaurant Nobu in the Tribeca area of the city.

The pricey eatery is a popular choice for celebrities although it is doubtful that many patrons take young babies with them.

But then given Blue Ivy is already a star in her own right – she is already the youngest artist ever to be on the Billboard charts after appearing on Jay-Z’s record – she will no doubt have received the full VIP treatment.

As the family left the restaurant Jay Z was seen beaming with pride while Beyoncé carried the two-month-old baby in a harness.

'She has already got fifty per cent growth in three weeks. She is going to be a really tall kid.'

'You just want to love and kiss her but the great thing with grandkids is that you can give them back.'

Beyoncé appeared every bit the doting mother as she cradled her daughter Blue Ivy Carter during a lunch outing today in New York.

It was the first time the newborn has been seen in public and her mother made sure to protectively wrap her arms around the infant.

The singer dressed casually in black leather trousers, sunglasses and boots. She wore a black cap on her head to keep warm.


Blue Ivy was wrapped in a black baby blanket, with what appeared to be a black scarf covering her face.

Beyoncé was accompanied by husband Jay-Z and a team of bodyguards who kept close watch over the family as they emerged from Sant Ambroeus cafe and espresso bar in the West Village.

Eyewitnesses say the new mother wasn't feeling well and the family left after only 30 minutes.

It was a wise move as the 30-year-old looked picture perfect for the first night of Jay-Z's two-legged occupation of NYC's Carnegie Hall.
