He plays the burly and hammer-wielding Asgard god Thor who can leave a trail of destruction in his wake if you get on his bad side.
But when it comes to his tiny baby girl, Chris Hemsworth couldn't be more gentle.
The actor, 28, was snapped walking through Madrid with his daughter India Rose sounds asleep in his big muscular arms.
Enough to melt your heart: Chris Hemsworth gently moves his baby daughter India's hat as he cradles her in his arms
And Chris no doubt made a thousand of his female hearts melt as he adoringly looked down on his little girl all safe against his solid and warm chest.
The Australian was snapped in the Spanish city with his mother-in-law Cristina who was on grandmother duty as they went for a stroll.
Family stroll: Chris was joined by his mother-in-law Cristina as they enjoyed their leisurely walk
Later that night, Chris joined his wife, Mardrid-born actress Elsa Pataky as they dined out in the city and took their little bundle of joy, who is now three months old, out with them.
Elsa, 35, looked very pretty in a short pink skirt and T-shirt while her man showed off his burliness in a tight long sleeved jumper.
Out we go, little one! Chris carefully carries India out of his Madrid apartment and put her in her carrier as he headed out for dinner
And mummy make three: Chris was joined by his Spanish wife Elsa Pataky
And they kept their little one hidden from the cameras in her carrier underneath a blanket.
Chris has been taking parenting tips from his older brother Luke, who has two daughters with his wife Samantha.
Luke told ew.com: 'I actually made him a little video on how to wrap her up so that she can`t get her arms out of the blanket. He had a bit of trouble with her.
How did she do that? Elsa has managed to get her slender figure back just six weeks after giving birth
'So I made a little video of how we wrap up our baby, but he said she still escaped.'
Chris also revealed to GQ magazine last month that he has kept up his buff body since Thor because it's been good for his career and added: 'It’s helped me get a job, sure. But you hope it’s not the only thing that helped.'
Working trip: Elsa was also in the city to promote the GHD Pink Cherry Blossom hair styler
