Daddy's boy: Peter Andre cuddles his son Junior on holiday in Cyprus earlier this month
It's been a tough year so far for Peter Andre as he continues to support his big brother Andrew through his cancer battle.
However, the singer managed to get some time out of his busy schedule for a much-needed break with his two children.
The Australian star, 39, escaped to his holiday home in Cyprus over the half-term with son Junior, seven; and daughter Princess, four.
Sun-seekers: Peter, daughter Princess, Junior and his brother Mike stroll through Larnaca town
The week-long trip was low-key for the family, with Peter admitted he just wanted to have some quiet, relaxing time out.
Joining the trio was one of Peter's brothers Mike, a hairdresser, who appeared to have given the singer and Junior a trim during the vacation.
Peter was staying at his luxury villa in the Larnaca region of Cyprus, which includes a swimming pool, roof terrace, jacuzzi and lift.
Refreshing: Princess sips on a banana milkshake in the Viale cafe
He doesn't get much of a chance to stay in the home because he rents it out for most of the year.
He told New! magazine: 'It was great to have some sun. We didn't get up to much other than playing in the pool and going to the local cafe, but it was really relaxing and nice to have some quiet family time.'
Despite the family holiday, Peter unfortunately missed out on the chance to spend Father's Day with his two children.
Making friends: The waitress took a shine to Princess at the restaurant
The day ended up falling on ex-wife Katie Price's time to have the children.
He said: 'Everyone's been asking what I did for Father's Day but, to be honest, I'd totally forgotten about it this year, probably because it wasn't my turn to have the kids. I was really busy in the studio working on my album so I had plenty of things to keep me busy.'
Meanwhile, Peter missed out on this year's Celebrity Father Of The Year title to Gary Barlow after winning it two years previously.
