Tight squeeze: Lauren Goodger attends Essex Fashion Week held at the CEME Conference Centre in Rainham, Essex

Though she claims to be depressed about her figure, Lauren Goodger's fashion sense suggests the contrary.

The TOWIE cast member, 25, chose the prestigious Essex Fashion Week event, which takes place over the course of one day, to once again showcase her tight-fitting leather trousers.

And there was no hint of her apparent lack of confidence as she strutted her stuff in the unflattering bottoms at the CEME Conference Centre, in Rainham,

Lauren matched her leather trousers, the same pair she was pictured in over the weekend, with a white blouse, towering black platform heels and a white clutch bag.

She took a place on the front row at one of the many catwalk shows that took place at the event.

Other members of the TOWIE cast, past and present, were also in the attendance at the one-day event.

They included Harry Derbidge, Amy Childs, Kirk Norcross and Jessica Wright.

And, some of their northern counterparts also made their presence felt at the fashion showcase.

Desperate Scousewives Gillian O'Toole and her sister Debbie, Layla Flaherty and Elissa Corrigan made their way to Essex to showcase their own take on the world of fashion - which seemed to focus on ultra-short dresses and super-high heels.

Earlier this week, Lauren Goodger claimed she was horrified by pictures of herself on holiday in Miami, which were published last month, but also insisted that she doesn't wear clothes that are too small for her.

She told new! magazine: 'In real life, I’m not that big. I’m no bigger than a 12. All my dresses are a 12. The gold Lipsy bikini I wore was a 10.'

It appears that Lauren has begun a new health regime as the brunette made a point of not drinking any alcohol during a night out on Friday.

She wrote on Twitter: 'Driving On my way home! This no drinking in clubs getting hard! But can't wait get in my bed!!x'.
