'In serious danger': Sinead O'Connor, pictured here at the Albert Nobbs soundtrack release party in West Hollywood on January 6, has been tweeting worrying messages
Despite reuniting with her new husband recently, it seems Sinead O'Connor is far from being happy.
The 45-year-old singer made an urgent plea for pyschological help today via her Twitter account.
Taking to the social networking site, the mother-of-four claimed that she was in 'danger' if she didn't receive medicine immediately.
The Nothing Compares 2 U singer began her series of odd Tweets by claiming that Ireland is a 'VERY hard place to find help in.'
'Does any1 know a psychiatrist in dublin or wicklow who could urgently see me today please? im really un-well... and in danger,' she tweeted to her 5,422 followers.
She then went on to say that she was in 'serious danger' and revealed she was going to casualty after breaking her ankle.
It seems that her latest outburst was triggered by an article in which she says 'tried to lose' her husband his job.
Another cry for help: The singer tweeted several urgent requests today
Irish Independent News reporter Niamh Horan published a story at the weekend stating that O'Connor had warned her: 'DO not f**k with me or my husband.'
Horan claims that the threat came after she raised questions over the conflict of interest between her husband Barry Herridge's job - counselling drug-addicted teenagers - and pictures of him being splashed all over the tabloids last week.
After announcing her brief split from Herridge, O'Connor revealed that she had taken her husband on a 'wild' search for marijuana on their wedding night.
The singer's response to the questions was: 'You better make sure you don't bump into me... I mean it. Do not fuck with me or my husband.'
O'Connor was pictured arriving back at her home in Wicklow, Ireland walking with a pair of crutches.
Injured: The mother-of-four claimed she had broken her ankle and was then pictured arriving home using a pair of crutches as her daughter shielded her
Shielded by her daughter Roisin, the star was wearing a pair of grey trousers and a bright red hoody as she made her way inside.
Her Twitter outburst follows a 'cry for help' from the singer last year when she revealed she wanted to commit suicide.
Following the disturbing tweets in September, O'Connor spoke out about her suicidal thoughts.
'I have no shame around the fact that I can be shot into suicidal feelings by certain people's treatment of me,' she said.
'I am no different to any other person, I therefore act as I believe any other person should be free to.'
But today she obviously realised that her posts could be misconstrued as another hint at suicide and quickly decided to reassure her followers.
Together again: O'Connor recently split from her fourth husband Barry Herridge who she married in December but the couple have since reunited
'me dont wanna leave me kids. or f**k up me work. im sorry worrying any1.. is just am sick and ireland s**t for finding help cant think of any other way,' she wrote.
The singer, who admitted that she attempted suicide on her 33rd birthday 11 years ago, recently split from and then reunited with her fourth husband Barry Herridge.
The couple married in Las Vegas on December 8 after dating for just four months.
