It's over! Lucy Mecklenburgh breaks down after confessing she did sleep with Mark Wright to boyfriend Mario Falcone in Sunday's episode of TOWIE


Their relationship has been on the rocks for weeks after Mark Wright told Mario Falcone he had slept with his girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh.

But after initially choosing to believe his brunette lover, Falcone gets a shock when Mecklenburgh admits Wright's claims were true all along.

A tearful Mecklenburgh, 20, decided to come clean to Falcone in Sunday night's episode of The Only Way Is Essex.


And unsurprisingly, the 23-year-old decides to call time on their six month romance.

During a heart-to-heart in the park, she said: 'I wanted to meet you 'cos I've never been completely honest about that night. I think you know that.'

A fuming Falcone hits back: 'You lied for the last two months not just to me, to my whole family.

'What sort of person does that make you? How can you say anything? There is nothing more to say!'

And on his Twitter today, it looked like Mario wasn't feeling too great.

He revealed he was feeling 'really down' and was watching Arthur in an attempt to cheer himself up.

On last week's episode of TOWIE, Wright's older sister Jessica showed James 'Arg' Argent and Gemma Collins a text message from Mecklenburgh asking her to cover for her on the night of the impromptu sleepover.

Mecklenburgh and Falcone started dating in April, with the bespoke tailor making his debut on the third series of TOWIE in September.

Just weeks into their relationship, it was rocked when Mecklenburgh and Wright shared a kiss on holiday in Marbella.

But as the couple weren't 'serious' at the time, Falcone let it slide.

However, when he was told by Wright himself in an episode last month of a second hook-up between his girlfriend and Wright in September while he was holidaying in Ibiza, he wasn't so forgiving.

After initially asking for a break, Falcone gave Mecklenburgh the benefit of the doubt and they pressed ahead with plans to move in together.

But after she checked his phone messages and gave him a 'hall pass' to be a single man for a night out with the lads last week, their relationship had been steadily disintegrating in front of TOWIE viewers.

Also on Sunday's episode, Lauren Goodger confronts Wright after eavesdropping on his romantic conversation - and kiss - with Sam Faiers at the Hallowe'en party.

Although a short time earlier she had told her ex-fiancé Wright he was a 'joke', her real feelings emerged when she broke down while watching him kissing Faiers.

She tells him: 'You're very, very disrespectful.

'Stop sh***ing about, get over yourself. I'm not here to argue. I'm here to tell you I forgive you and I want to forget you, now get out of my life and never, ever talk to me again.'
