It's my party and I'll cry if I want to! Chloe Sims looked upset at her wedding themed 30th birthday as she told her cousin she couldn't believe she wasn't married yet
Weddings are usually the happiest day of a woman's life, but things turned sour quickly for Chloe Sims.
The Only Way Is Essex star chose a wedding theme for her 30th birthday and it turned into more of a pity party than a celebration.
On several occasions, the former Playboy model was seen in last night's episode telling how she was upset she wasn't married yet.
What a gentleman: Chloe's cousin Joey Essex stood in as the 'Prince Charming' and said a speech about how she'd always been there for him and would talk to him about girlfriends
And like any wedding where there's alcohol and family involved, there were several side dramas.
But Chloe she clearly showed she didn't need a man for the elaborate affair.
She went all out, arriving at the venue in Essex in a horse-drawn carriage, in scenes reminiscent of Katie Price's wedding to singer Peter Andre.
Going all out: Chloe had arrived at the venue with Joey and a flower girl in a horse-drawn carriage
As she exited the vehicle with cousin Joey Essex and a cute flower girl, she threw back her veil and clapped happily as she walked into her party.
Chloe wore a stunning two-piece ensemble consisting of a boob tube and high-waisted skirt with a massive bow on it.
Guests lined the entrance and clapped as Chloe kissed and hugged them.
Isn't that a little bit overboard Chloe? The elaborate display was reminiscent of Katie Price's wedding with singer Peter Andre
Here comes the bride: Guests lines the entrance of the party venue clapping and cheering for the pretend bride as she arrived
A tophat-wearing Joey trailed behind, holding hands with the cute flower girl.
And no wedding would be complete without three beautiful bridesmaids to act as the blushing brides sounding board.
That role was filled by Lauren Goodger, Lauren Pope and Chloe's cousin and Joey's sister Frankie Essex.
Thanks for coming: Chloe hugged her guests including Mark Wright's grandmother Nanny Pat and Billie Faiers, who looked to be enjoying herself despite recovering from an attack by a girl gang
And now for the rest of the wedding party: A tophat-wearing Joey trailed closely behind Chloe with the cute flower girl
The trio donned pretty black strapless dresses with diamante details from online brand, Forever Unique.
The scene was complete with the Dixie Cups' infamous Chapel of Love edited in.
Inside, Chloe was seen telling her cousin Frankie Essex - Joey's sister - about her woes.
'The saddest thing for me is I'm not married,' she said.
'I haven't got my prince. No one wants to marry me.'
Thanks Joey! Chloe also got up and spoke after listening to her cousin's moving words
Cracking a funny: Chloe and cousin Frankie Essex laughed when Joey said she used to always make marmite toast for him when he was younger, not realising he didn't like it
Woe is me: Chloe was seen telling Frankie that she couldn't believe she was not married at 30
Frankie tried to confront the mother-of-one with: 'Listen, never say never. You could meet your prince tonight.'
But she replied: 'But Frank, I'm not even close to it. I haven't got a boyfriend. I haven't got a fiance. I haven't even got anybody who wants to marry me. I keep thinking in my head 'Woah yeah' but then I think 'Oh my God, you're totally a loner.' I've been left on the shelf and I'm 30, 30.'
'From now on I'm going to be an old bride. There's no way around it. I've hit middle age. So from now it's downhill.
Frankie kept consoling her.
The bridesmaids: Lauren Pope, Lauren Goodger and Frankie Essex ramped up the glamour in matching strapless black dresses
Who wants it? Chloe throwing her bouquet as all the usual TOWIE stars look on in anticipation
'If we all be negative like that, no ones going to get bloody married are they?' she asked.
Chloe said: 'Easy for you to say, 23 or 24 whatever you are. If you get married before me, when I come to your wedding, you've got to throw the bouquet straight at me.'
Afterwards it was time for an emotional speech by Joey who was seen earlier in the show blowing bubbles to help him think of what to say.
And it's away! The guests wait to see who the lucky girl will be
What a fluke! Frankie caught the bouquet after consoling Chloe about not being married yet
Defiant: Chloe told her cousin 'If you get married before me, I'll cry my eyes out. I swear to God'
'When I was a baby she looked after me a lot and she used to always make me marmite and toast but I don't think she's actually realised that I've only started liking it about two weeks ago,' he said.
'She looked after me all my life really... I can talk to Chloe about anything really, obviously about girlfriends, looking reem and everything like that, and generally about girls and stuff.'
He said he wanted to make a toast and jokingly pulled out a real piece of toast from his pocket.
Wedding platters: James 'Arg' Argent joined Harry Derbidge and his new boyfriend Kurt at the buffet
Chloe joined him on the stage and again addressed her single status.
'As you can see I'm dressed as a bride because I'm not married and I'm p***** off because I'm 30 and I've got no husband which is rubbish,' she said.
'But Joey has decided to stand in for the Prince Charming today, thanks Joe.'
Later Chloe threw the bouquet and Frankie caught it.
Immediately she quipped: 'If you get married before me, I'm going to cry my eyes out. I swear to God.'
Too much? Earlier in the day Chloe had tried on a stunning, jewel-encrusted wedding dress but decided it was better kept for her real wedding
getting ready: Chloe had her black hair extensions styled into a tight bun on top of her head for the affair
The night was also full of cat fights with the biggest showdown at the end between Lauren Goodger and Sam Faiers.
Lauren's ex Mark Wright had sat next to Lauren to apologise that she had to see him and Sam kisisng last week.
But Lauren wasn't having it and started yelling at him as Sam listened from a nearby table along with Mark's mother Carol, grandmother Nanny Pat and sister Jessica.
It wouldn't have been complete without the cake: Chloe tweeted this picture of her delicious birthday cake today
