Dancing machine: Prince treated passersby to his own interpretation of some of dad Michael's moves in plush Santa Monica this weekend

Prince Jackson certainly looks to be a chip off of the old block.

The son of self-styled king of pop Michael looks like he has inherited some of the legendary singer's dance moves.

And he bopped and weaved as he walked down the street as he made his towards burger joint Johnny Rockets in swanky Santa Monica, California this weekend.

The 14-year-old bopped his head as he listened to music on his MP3 player, and appeared to grab his crotch as he attempted a moonwalk.

Of course he has a long way to go before he moves his legendary father's dance move, but everybody has to start somewhere.

Meanwhile his sister Paris, 13, accompanied Prince and a group of friends as they went to the popular burger chain.

Michael Jackson's children are making plans to travel to Wales to join the star-studded musical tribute to the King of Pop.

Perhaps the duo were discussing plans to fly to Wales to attend the upcoming MJ Tribute Concert.

They want to be there in person along with their nine-year-old brother Blanket.

You are not alone: Paris had a posse of chums accompanying her on her day out to the burger joint

A Jackson family rep told TMZ: 'Paris, Blanket and Prince have been asked to attend the MJ Tribute in Wales and they have decided to go.'

'They are extremely excited and they're hoping they will have the opportunity to contribute in some way by making a speech.'

However, the rep added: 'Jermaine and Randy are fighting it,' because the brothers believe the timing of the tribute is 'inappropriate' because it will take place during the criminal trial surrounding Jackson's death.
