The lady is a vamp: Cheryl Cole turned heads as she arrived at the Habernus Papam premiere during the Cannes Film Festival wearing a plunging white Stephane Rolland dress
She is photographed everywhere she goes, so Cheryl Cole has to ensure she pulls out all the stops when she attends a red carpet event.
And the 27-year-old star certainly didn't disappoint as she arrived at the premiere of Habernus Papam at the Cannes Film Festival tonight wearing a plunging white Stephane Rolland dress.
The outfit left very little to the imagination, but Cheryl managed to look both sexy and elegant in the white creation.
Revealing: The dress left very little to the imagination, but Cheryl succeeded in looking sexy and elegant
Cheryl teamed the dress with an unusual belt, which featured what appeared to be two gold pears on the front, and gold clutch bag.
The X Factor USA star also opted for a different look with her hair and make-up, going for a slicked-back ponytail and dark plum-coloured lipstick.
The choice was a sharp contrast to Cheryl's usual appearance of voluminous hair and fresh-faced make-up.
Vampish: Cheryl's slicked back hair and dark plum lips were in sharp contrast to her usual style
A source said: ‘Simon told her he didn’t love her orange top and purple flares - he said he had seen her look far more glamorous.
'He’s really keen for her to boost her international profile in Cannes and has urged her to look fantastic.'
Cheryl appeared poised and confident as she posed for photographers on the red carpet at the premiere.
She is also expected to make an appearance at a party hosted by L'Oreal, the cosmetics company of which she is the face, later this evening.
Perfect from every angle: Cheryl looked absolutely stunning in the white creation, which featured draping to the front and back
It's the second year running Cheryl has made an appearance at Cannes.
Last year, she again managed to hit the headlines when she arrived wearing a cutaway Versace dress to perform a set at the party during the film festival.
Starlet: Cheryl's arrival sent the photographers into a mad panic, with them all attempting to get the best shot
French haute couturier Stephane Rolland says he likes the idea of dressing ‘a woman with many faces’. Just as well, as we’ve certainly seen two different sides to our Cheryl this week.
This floor-length white gown with a puddle train and plunging V-neck (we can only imagine the amount of tape being used to keep it in place and avoid a Judy Finnigan-style wardrobe malfunction) is described simply as ‘very expensive’ by one of Rolland’s spokesmen, who said the dress was made to order especially for Cheryl.
Poised: Cheryl teamed the white dress with an unusual gold belt and matching clutch box bag
What's my best angle? Cheryl is a lone figure in a sea of photographers in this aerial shot of the premiere
What a difference: Cheryl's slicked back hair and plum lips was in sharp contrast to the voluminous look she preferred at the first day of the X Factor auditions earlier this month
Unique: Cheryl accessorised the dress with a belt made of hand blown glass, and filled with liquid gold
Cannes Red Carpet: 'Habemas Papam'
