Slender: Rochelle Wiseman showed off a slimmer figure as she went out with The Saturdays bandmate Vanessa White in London last night

She's always been a proud role model for the curvier woman.

But last night The Saturdays star Rochelle Wiseman displayed what appeared to be a fairly drastic weight loss, showing off her new slender frame in a skintight silver dress.

It seems maybe the group's recent Headlines tour has taken its toll on the 21-year-old singer, who looked noticeably thinner than she did late last year.

Slimming down: Rochelle looked a lot thinner than she did in a similarly tight dress late last year

Outspoken Rochelle took to her Twitter page last year to complain about people calling her 'fat', insisting she is proud to be a size 10.

She wrote: 'I'm really getting annoyed reading that people are calling me fat! I'm a size 10 not 100! I'm human and curvy get over it! It's boring!

'I'm just starting to get sick of it!!! No wonder people get a complex!! I think it's a disgrace!!

'As a band we take pride in being role models to children and other young girls and I think that the best role model is someone who is comfortable in their own skin! And I am.'

Party time: Both Rochelle and her female friend were dressed to the nines in tight, short minidresses

Heading home: Rochelle was the designated driver for the evening

Last night, Rochelle was out with fellow Saturdays member Vanessa White at London's May Fair Hotel, enjoying an evening catching up with the singer after they both returned from their respective holidays.

While Rochelle was spotted arriving back in London earlier this week after a romantic trip to Dubai with her JLS boyfriend Marvin Humes, Vanessa travelled to Miami where she caught up with friends including The X Factor winner Alexandra Burke.

But despite being ready to have a good time last night, Rochelle was the designated driver for the evening, and tweeted fans: 'Out with my dolls tonight..I am driver!! Sober sally is out!!'

Working the yellow bib: Rochelle and the rest of The Saturdays launched the Marie Curie Cancer Care Daffodil Appeal yesterday afternoon

Earlier in the day, Rochelle and Vanessa had joined the rest of The Saturdays - Frankie Sandford, Una Healy and Mollie King - to help Marie Curie raise money for their Cancer Care Daffodil Appeal.

And while the girls are used to sexy sequinned numbers stepping out in their best the girls were happy to don bright yellow plastic bibs to help encourage shoppers at London's Westfield Centre to cough up some cash.

The girls took to Twitter to encourage fans to make their way down to Shepherds Bush and Vanessa posted: ‘Looking forward to collecting a LOT of money for @mariecurieuk today! Make sure you all donate! every daffodil helps!!!’
