Gaunt: Victoria Beckham looked particularly skinny as she left Claridge's in London today following a luncheon where she previewed some new designs
With two lunches to attend, there was surely a plethora of tasty canapés and nibbles to feast on.
But judging by Victoria Beckham's super skinny frame, pushing food around a plate may have been the order of the day.
The fashion designer cut a gaunt figure as she left Gordon Ramsay's Claridge's today in central London
Wearing a tangerine shift dress, the mother of three looked skinnier than usual, perhaps accentuated by her hair, which was pulled back into a tight ponytail.
A pair of overly large sunglasses only served to added to her slim appearance.
Following her luncheon at Claridge's, where she gave a preview of her spring/summer 2011 collection - including bags, gowns and sunglasses, she headed to another event at the InterContinental Hotel

She attended the hotel for a question and answer session for day one of the International Herald Tribune Heritage Luxury Conference.
Hilary Alexander, the fashion critic for the Daily Telegraph, had earlier been at lunch at Claridge's with Victoria and reported on her blog that the former Spice Girl was feeling a little nervous about her Q&A session.
But she apparently joked that if the questions got a little tough she could always sing a Spice Girls song.
Posh was photographer with renowned designer Karl Lagerfeld at the Heritage event, which is aimed at bringing together the heads of a wide variety of high end luxury manufacturers, to share their experiences and thoughts on the future of fashion and design.

The 36-year-old revealed in an interview this month that she enjoys date nights with husband David every Wednesday night to keep the passion alive in their relationship.
They have been married for 11 years and recently weathered fresh allegations of infidelity.
Victoria Beckham, however, insists her relationship with husband David is still going strong - thanks to their weekly ‘date nights’.
The former Spice Girl yesterday insisted that her 11-year marriage, the subject of speculation after a call girl claimed to have slept with Beckham, is still on course despite the ‘ups and downs’.
Mrs Beckham said she and her husband enjoy date nights every Wednesday when they arrange a cosy evening in to rekindle the romance in their relationship.
She said she had been left reeling by repeated claims of the former England captain’s infidelity but declared: ‘We’re soulmates.’
