Carry on: Katie Holmes carried her five-year-old daughter Suri as they shopped for dance shoes in Los Angeles earlier today
Little Suri Cruise may be growing up fast, but her mother Katie Holmes seemed to have no trouble carrying her today.
Katie gave her daughter a lift as they paid a visit to Worldtone Dance in Los Angeles to buy dancing shoes.
Mother and daughter looked happy and relaxed as they strolled through the parking lot, with Suri clutching her favourite doll.
Adorable: Suri looked pretty in a bright pink dress and silver ballet pumps as she clutched her favourite doll
The daughter of Katie and husband Tom Cruise looked pretty in a bright pink dress and silver ballet pumps while her mother was dressed casually in a pair of slim fitting jeans and denim shirt.
The youngster also seemed to be wearing a blue shade of nail polish on her hands.
But despite Suri's love of clothes, it seemed Katie was buying shoes for herself on this occasion.
Sneak peek: Suri seemed to enjoy herself as her mother looked at the shoes in the store
She was seen in the store holding a pair of adult gold dancing shoes.
However, the 32-year-old actress has admitted in the past that she pays attention to her daughter's fashion taste.
'She’ll really tell me [what she thinks],' Katie told Elle magazine earlier this year.
'She’ll say, "You’ve got to wear these shoes." Or "That’s so pretty, Mom. Wear that." She’s got a great eye.'
Bold in gold: The casually dressed actress holds a pair of gold strappy dancing shoes as she looks around the store
Tom Cruise is currently in Florida filming musical movie Rock of Ages alongside Alec Baldwin and Russell Brand.
He plays a long-haired, tattooed rocker called Stacee Jaxx, and has been practising for the role at home.
'Tom is such an amazing performer. Yes, we have music in our house and it’s amazing,' Katie revealed to Access Hollywood recently.
