Not so blue now! Kerry Katona wows in a tiny turquoise dress as she attends a charity event in Warrington

She might have had a difficult few weeks after announcing she was leaving her PR agency CAN Associates.

But last night it was business as usual for Kerry Katona as she got back to work with an appearance at a charity event in her hometown of Warrington.

The 30-year-old star donned a tiny turquoise minidress which showed off her svelte figure, teamed with a pair of silver heels and a blonde quiff as she posed with friends at the event.

Earlier in the day, Kerry was seen spending time with her Dancing On Ice partner Daniel Whiston, who travelled up to Warrington to give his friend support after her split from agent Claire Powell.

The ice skater visited the reality TV star in her home town in the north and was seen walking arm in arm with Kerry and offering her a number of warm embraces to try to cheer her up.

The pair were partnered in the sixth series of the show earlier this year and were eliminated in the fifth week of the competition.

Kerry was dressed in a pair of khaki dungarees with on strap un-hooked and had a black vest top underneath.

The mother-of-four wore a pair of huge sunglasses and carried a black handbag as she made her way to her car.

Last week Kerry made her way from her rented home in Surrey back to Warrington to see her mother.

The star often goes back to Warrington, where she grew up, in times of crisis. Her daughter Molly, nine, and children with ex Mark Croft, Heidi, four, and Max, three, did not appear to be present on the trip.

The former Atomic Kitten star hit back at reports she had been 'dumped' by CAN Associates following a six-hour drinking marathon.

Insisting it was her decision to leave, she wrote on her Twitter page she felt her 'integrity had been compromised.'

Hug it out: Daniel Whiston headed up to Warrington to support his skating partner Kerry Katona

A shoulder to cry on? The skating partners were seen hugging and Daniel was offering his support to Kerry, who split from her management last week

The mother-of-four tweeted: 'Contrary to recent press reports, I was not 'dumped' by CAN Associates.

'It was my decision to leave, as on a professional level my career was taking a direction that I did not want, nor did I feel was appropriate.

'Furthermore on a personal level, I felt that my integrity had been compromised, as it was with Nicola Partridge before me.

'I have not taken any drugs in the last year and a half - and if anyone claims otherwise, I will sue without hesitation.'

Warm embrace: The pair were seen sharing a huge hug as they said goodbye

Kerry has often turned to her mother Sue in times of hardship, although the pair have had a fractious relationship over the years.

CAN Associates ended their 15 month working relationship with the troubled reality TV star last Thursday and confirmed last Friday they were no longer representing her. They did not give a reason for the split.

Kerry, was seen looking rather worse for wear as she left the May Fair Hotel in the small hours last Wednesday morning.

She should have been attending the 21st birthday celebrations of The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs, who is also represented by CAN, in nearby Soho.

CAN clients typically attend events together, and MailOnline noted that Kerry was a surprising no show on the night.

Initially offering no further comment, CAN later denied a newspaper report today that her recent partying had led to the decision to part ways.

And Claire from CAN told Mail Online she hasn’t completely severed all ties with Kerry.

She said: 'I am still working with her on the TV show, and working through things until she gets new management.’

Kerry signed to CAN in March last year as her career and public profile took a huge nosedive.

She had just split from her second husband Mark Croft, had been caught taking cocaine on camera and was declared bankrupt.

CAN Associates' sister company CAN TV produced her ITV2 reality show Kerry Katona: The Next Chapter.

The show averaged between 800,000 to 900,000 viewers during its April broadcasts.
