She has just received an invitation to one of the most powerful addresses in the world.
And it appears Jennifer Lopez is keen to fit in at the White House this weekend by undergoing a very upper class makeover.
The singer attended business meetings in New York today looking every inch the Park Avenue princess in a designer dress, fur stole, ladylike gloves and sunglasses.
Emerging from her chauffeured car, the 41-year-old looked elegant in a white bandage dress by Herve Leger, but added rockstar touches with a studded clutch and matching Christian Louboutin shoes.
Earlier it appeared as though Jennifer was perfecting a wave worthy of meeting royalty, not politicians, as she stared out from the back of her car.

Speaking at the launch of the Venus Goddess Fund for Education, she told US entertainment show Extra: 'I can't believe it!

'I just don't know, maybe that's why I don't want to talk about it. I don't even feel like its real!'
The singer-actress has hinted that she thinks the Pittsburgh Steelers will win the game.

Lopez is well-versed in American football since Anthony purchased a small stake in the Maimi Dolphins in July 2009.
The couple are often seen cheering on the team from the private box at the game, sometimes joined by fellow stakeholder Fergie.
Lopez and Marc, both 41, have a close relationship with Obama, who met the pair in the Oval office in September 2009, while their twins Emme and Max ran around the White House.
While Lopez has never provided entertainment at the Super Bowl, she did put on a pre-game performance last year at a Miami nightclub.
This year Christina Aguilera will sing the American national anthem, while Glee star Lea Michele will perform America The Beautiful.
The Black Eyed Peas, Usher and Guns 'N Roses guitarist Slash are providing the halftime entertainment.
