WAG in training: Sheree Murphy took her two-year-old daughter Matilda out for a day of shopping in Liverpool

She's arguably more well-known for being married to a footballer than her acting career.

So it comes as no surprise that Sheree Murphy is keen to ensure her two-year-old Matilda is well-versed in the rules of WAG-dom if she should ever choose to follow her mother into the field.

Andlesson number one on how to be a WAG surely has to be shopping, as the 35-year-old star was photographed indulging in some retail therapy with her mini-me in Liverpool.

While Murphy stuck to muted black and greys, Matilda livened up her outfit with a sequinned jacket and diamantes on her boots.

And little Matilda clearly took to being a shopaholic like a duck to water, as she even helped her famous mother carrying her shopping bags from infamous boutique Cricket to the car.

Matilda even helped load the leopard-print bags into the car boot.

Murphy has three children, nine-year-old Taylor, seven-year-old Ruby and Matilda, with husband Harry Kewell, who currently plays for Turkish football club Galatasaray.

She is currently starring in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks playing Eva Strong the long-lost mother of Anita Roy (Saira Choudhry).

But Murphy said recently her children cringe over her scenes which see her character kissing toyboys.

She said: 'Whenever there are any love scenes, my nine-year-old Taylor cringes and says, "I'm going to tell Dad!' He's so embarrassed!"

'One of Eva's relationships was with a 16-year-old and although the actor was 22, I felt like an old nana. I couldn't imagine dating a younger man.

'I wouldn't be able to take my clothes off in front of them for a start! Nothing looks the same. I'm very happily married, anyway.'
